Your Responsibilities:
- Act as a design engineer on various municipal water and wastewater initiatives.
- Conduct conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and detailed engineering reports.
- Ensure adherence to standard engineering practices and proper documentation on all reports and design projects.
- Interpret specifications and drawings, suggesting and documenting design modifications.
- Address inquiries, plan, coordinate, and execute work efficiently and compliantly.
- Provide construction support services, including field meetings and review of submittals and shop drawings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline (focus on water/wastewater preferred).
- 0-2 years of experience in designing water and wastewater systems, including pipelines and pumping systems.
- Engineer in Training Certification with the intention to obtain Professional Engineer Registration within four years (required); Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Active participation in water and wastewater professional associations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Compensation: Salary range is $73,000-$85,000, depending on experience.
