Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design of water and wastewater treatment systems for new projects, assessments, and rehabilitation efforts.
  • Mentor and guide Staff Engineers in their professional development.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team through project scoping, execution, and construction phases.
  • Develop comprehensive engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide construction support services, including site visits and client meetings.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service to local municipal, state, and federal stakeholders.
  • Drive marketing and operational initiatives for water and wastewater treatment projects in the Rocky Mountain region.
  • Enhance the Tetra Tech brand through collaboration with professional and community organizations.
  • Manage project risks and uphold standard engineering practices, ensuring thorough documentation through Quality Assurance / Quality Control Programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in the municipal engineering sector.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado is mandatory.
  • Proven design experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in project planning and client engagement.
  • Proficient in navigating jurisdictional and regulatory permitting processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative office environment with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated and a valuable team contributor.
  • Familiarity with process modeling software (e.g., BioWin, Sumo) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel periodically, approximately 15% or more.

Compensation: Competitive salary range based on experience and portfolio.
