Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design of all facets of water and wastewater treatment for new constructions, assessments, and rehabilitation projects.
  • Mentor and guide Staff Engineers.
  • Direct a multidisciplinary team through project scoping, execution, and construction phases.
  • Develop comprehensive engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and related documentation.
  • Provide construction support services, including site visits and meetings.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service to local municipal, state, and federal clients.
  • Lead marketing and operational efforts for water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects in the Rocky Mountain market.
  • Enhance the Tetra Tech brand through engagement with professional and community organizations.
  • Manage risks and uphold standard engineering practices, ensuring thorough documentation through Quality Assurance / Quality Control Programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in the municipal engineering sector.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Colorado is required.
  • Proven design experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Ability to inspire and lead teams in project planning and client engagement.
  • Proficient in client interaction to resolve issues and navigate technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with jurisdictional and regulatory permitting processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must thrive in a collaborative office environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated and a strong contributor to team performance.
  • Experience with process modeling software (e.g., BioWin, Sumo) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel periodically, approximately 15% or more.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and portfolio.
