As part of the Tetra Tech Denver Office, you will join a collaborative team of dedicated and passionate colleagues focused on serving the Colorado water sector. Your Responsibilities:

  • Support design engineering efforts on various municipal water and wastewater initiatives.
  • Gather and input data utilizing Microsoft and other database applications for technical assessments.
  • Analyze data, conduct evaluations, and compare results with relevant studies and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, quality control, and document management tasks.
  • Work under the guidance of a project manager or senior team member.
  • Conduct research for ongoing projects, including reviewing regulations, permits, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with CAD designers for project drawing markups and quality assurance compliance.
  • Draft and edit design reports for client and regulatory agency review.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience in the municipal engineering field.
  • Licensed Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or willingness to obtain EIT certification.
  • Highly motivated and a collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in data collection and preparation of scientific documentation.
  • Strong technical writing capabilities.
  • Ability to format and produce reports while maintaining effective document management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage time effectively within a project team.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions.
  • Experience with water/sanitary sewer modeling, BioWin modeling, or water and wastewater treatment is advantageous.
  • This role may involve occasional travel.
Compensation: Salary range is competitive and commensurate with experience.
