About the Role:

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as a design engineer on a variety of municipal water and wastewater initiatives.
  • Conduct both conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.
  • Develop construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and detailed engineering reports.
  • Uphold standard engineering practices and ensure proper documentation on various projects.
  • Interpret specifications and drawings, recommending design modifications as necessary.
  • Address inquiries, plan, coordinate, and execute tasks in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide construction support services, including field meetings and review of submittals and shop drawings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline, preferably with a focus on water/wastewater.
  • 0-2 years of experience in the design of water and wastewater systems, including pipelines and pumping systems.
  • Engineer in Training Certification with the intention to achieve Professional Engineer Registration within four years is required; a Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Active participation in water and wastewater professional associations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Compensation:

Salary range is competitive and commensurate with experience.
