El Senior Accounting Specialist desempeñará un papel fundamental en nuestro equipo financiero, siendo responsable de diversas tareas contables y administrativas, que incluyen la contabilización de transacciones y la conciliación de todas las cuentas del libro mayor. Este puesto implica la gestión eficiente y la presentación oportuna de procesos de cuentas por cobrar y cuentas por pagar, así como la gestión de efectivo, procesamiento de transacciones, cierre de mes y preparación para auditorías.

Responsabilidades:

  • Preparar asientos contables y conciliaciones de cuentas en todas las líneas de negocio, realizando procesos de cierre mensual. Resolver cualquier variación mediante análisis de cuentas de manera regular. Preparar programas de auditoría.
  • Gestionar el ciclo completo de cuentas por cobrar, que incluye la preparación y distribución de facturas a los clientes, ingreso de facturas en el software contable y registro de los pagos recibidos.
  • Elaborar y distribuir informes semanales de antigüedad de cuentas por cobrar. Monitorear cuentas para asegurar que los recibos estén actualizados. Realizar seguimientos con clientes y/o gerentes de otros departamentos sobre el estado de los pagos según sea necesario.
  • Realizar tareas de gestión de efectivo corporativo, como transferencias y movimientos de cuentas pendientes.
  • Gestionar el ciclo completo de cuentas por pagar, que incluye clasificar facturas entrantes, revisar la documentación adecuada, distribuir facturas y hacer seguimiento para obtener aprobaciones oportunas, ingresar facturas en el software contable, procesar lotes de cheques y gestionar pagos electrónicos.
  • Interactuar con clientes y proveedores, respondiendo a consultas.
  • Mantener archivos y documentación de manera exhaustiva y precisa, de acuerdo con la política de la empresa.
  • Colaborar con el equipo para mejorar la eficiencia y efectividad operativa.
  • Realizar proyectos ad-hoc según se asignen.

Requisitos de Educación y Otros Mínimos:

  • Título universitario en contabilidad o campo relacionado.
  • Más de 2 años de experiencia en contabilidad o campo relacionado.
  • Excelentes habilidades en Microsoft Office Suite, especialmente en Microsoft Excel.
  • Experiencia en sistemas ERP.
  • Conocimiento de principios contables generalmente aceptados.
  • Alta atención al detalle y precisión.
  • Fuertes habilidades organizativas y analíticas.
  • Capacidad para comunicarse de manera efectiva, tanto verbalmente como por escrito, interactuando con empleados y proveedores de manera profesional.
  • Disposición para trabajar horas extras cuando se enfrenta a plazos ajustados.

Puntos adicionales si tienes:

  • Título avanzado o CPA (o en proceso).
  • Experiencia en Oracle NetSuite.
  • Experiencia en Big 4 contable.
  • Experiencia en Finanzas de Consumo o Titulización de Activos.
  • Deseo de aprender y desarrollar tus habilidades.
  • Antecedentes en sistemas de información.
