We partner with pharmaceutical companies and international regulatory bodies to create companion diagnostics essential for the approval of new cancer treatments. Our accredited clinical laboratories, compliant with ISO15189 and CLIA/CAP standards, offer a test menu focused on clinically actionable biomarkers to aid therapeutic decisions, measurable residual disease (MRD) testing, patient stratification, and trial enrollment, all aimed at accelerating the approval of new oncology drugs and therapies.

As we continue to lead in precision diagnostics, we are seeking to expand our team by adding a Senior Accounting Specialist. This role encompasses the complete accounting cycle, including support for daily operations, month-end closing, and necessary reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general ledger analysis, manage accounts, and oversee month-end closing processes, including accruals and adjusting entries.
  • Prepare journal entries, conduct analyses, perform account reconciliations, and assist with monthly closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare required reports for federal and state tax authorities, including 1099 filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Manage accounts receivable and inter-company billing processes.
  • Record cash transactions and reconcile bank accounts for various local and international entities, preparing weekly cash forecasts for management review.
  • Perform credit card reconciliations and apply payments through bank deposits.
  • Oversee fixed asset management, including requests, approvals, capitalization, and disposal, while managing depreciation for all entities.
  • Post payroll entries to the general ledger for international entities.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including Contracts, Quality, and Shipping, to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Manage lease agreements, rent schedules, and CAM reconciliations.
  • Assist in inventory cost analysis, variance reporting, and related tasks.
  • Prepare monthly revenue reports for management, comparing against budgeted forecasts.
  • Generate sales reports for management and the Sales and Marketing team, categorized by region, product, and service on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare commission schedules for the sales team on a quarterly basis.
  • Support Accounts Payable and other projects as required.
  • Balance various prepaid transactions and account balances across entities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook), with the ability to learn new software programs.
  • Experience in spreadsheet preparation and tracking, including skills in VLOOKUP, Macros, and Pivot Tables is preferred.
