Position Overview:
As a vital member of our accounting department, the Staff Accountant II will focus on property management accounting. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager to ensure precise and timely accounting for the portfolio.
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for investors and lenders.
- Complete monthly and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and account reconciliations along with roll forward schedules.
- Generate journal entries and audit work papers, providing necessary supporting documentation.
- Manage monthly debt service processing and select invoices for payment.
- Assist in budget preparation and the processing of distributions.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience is required, with real estate and affordable housing experience considered advantageous.
- Familiarity with Yardi and Timberline software is a plus.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is between $66,000 and $68,000 annually. This position is exempt, and the displayed range reflects the annual salary based on skills, experience, location, and job complexity.
