Senior Accountant, Revenue
The Senior Accountant, Revenue position at ImmunityBio is centered on managing revenue accounting policies, procedures, and controls within the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Examine revenue-related accounting transactions to derive insights and identify trends
- Ensure the consistent application of revenue recognition policies in alignment with applicable standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure precise financial reporting
- Contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing operational efficiency
- Support financial processes associated with revenue, receivables, and US GAAP compliance
- Oversee audit requests and internal controls to safeguard assets
- Assist in technical accounting research related to revenue recognition
- Perform additional assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance roles, particularly focused on revenue recognition
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
- Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is advantageous
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and revenue accounting practices in the life sciences sector
