Senior Accountant, Revenue

The Senior Accountant, Revenue position at ImmunityBio is centered on managing revenue accounting policies, procedures, and controls within the organization.

Core Responsibilities

  • Examine revenue-related accounting transactions to derive insights and identify trends
  • Ensure the consistent application of revenue recognition policies in alignment with applicable standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure precise financial reporting
  • Contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing operational efficiency
  • Support financial processes associated with revenue, receivables, and US GAAP compliance
  • Oversee audit requests and internal controls to safeguard assets
  • Assist in technical accounting research related to revenue recognition
  • Perform additional assigned duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance roles, particularly focused on revenue recognition
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
  • Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and revenue accounting practices in the life sciences sector
