About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Climate Resilience Analyst, Junior to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Climate Resilience Analyst, Junior, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in developing and implementing climate resilience strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and analyze complex data sets to develop reports, briefings, and presentations on climate resilience-related topics.
  • Leverage programming languages such as Python or R, and visualization software such as Tableau, Plotly, ArcGIS, PowerBi, Qlik, or Adobe Creative Cloud, to collect, compile, and visualize data.
  • Support the development of innovative technical solutions to address climate-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for climate resilience projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience applying Python or R programming languages to create, compile, or wrangle complex datasets.
  • Experience leveraging visualization software to convey analytical findings.
  • Experience in climate, environmental, energy, and sustainability policy.
  • Knowledge of encroachment, land use management, and installation resilience for military operations.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new subject areas.
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working in the DoD.
  • Experience with Cloud environments, Git version control, Jira, or AWS services.
  • Experience with handling and conversion of multiple spatial and non-spatial data sources.
  • Experience supporting joint land use studies, compatible use plans, and installation complex encroachment management action plans.
  • Experience with the planning, design, or implementation of conservation activities.
  • Experience preparing grant proposals requesting funding from federal, state, or philanthropic programs.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106, annualized USD.
