Position Summary
The Junior Operations Analyst for Refugee Programs (Functional Analyst I) operates within the framework of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) to assist the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) and the Refugee Processing Center (RPC). This role involves close collaboration with Resettlement Support Centers (RSCs) and Resettlement Agencies (RAs) to guarantee accurate data entry and adherence to established business and system protocols within the START application.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data entry tasks and implement quality-control measures in the START application.
- Investigate case histories and current statuses.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the RPC.
- Address unique case processing scenarios.
- Evaluate user requirements to identify functional needs for various projects.
- Research and recommend necessary resources for task execution and completion.
- Contribute to the development of updates or new functionalities/business processes to fulfill client requirements.
- Draft and revise project documentation, including procedures and training materials.
- Undertake additional special tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Mandatory Qualifications
Possession of an active Secret Security Clearance.
