Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Hospital Housekeeping Systems. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and presentation of high-quality food and beverages to our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our patients and staff, while ensuring compliance with nutritional and food safety standards.
  • Culinary Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of cooks, sous chefs, and other culinary staff to ensure excellent food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Implement and maintain effective food safety and quality control procedures to prevent contamination and ensure the highest standards of food quality.
  • Inventory Management and Budgeting: Manage food and supply inventory, develop and implement budgeting and cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Customer Service and Satisfaction: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited culinary program, plus 5+ years of experience as a sous or executive chef in a healthcare or food service setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven leadership and management skills, excellent culinary skills, knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
