Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team at MAKO Medical. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for traveling to Skilled Nursing Facilities and Private Residential homes to collect patient specimens. You will ensure that all specimens are collected accurately and on time, and that all customers are treated with courtesy and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect urine and oral fluid specimens and phlebotomy specimens from patients in a timely and accurate manner
  • Process and package specimens for transport to the laboratory
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimen collection and processing
  • Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Perform clerical duties, including filing and data entry
  • Submit accurate expense forms, if applicable
  • Adhere to departmental and company code of grooming and dress code policies
  • Report to work on time and follow attendance guidelines
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification or training required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed
