Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized sales professional to join our team as an Account Manager for our Elk Grove Village location.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and be able to establish and maintain relationships with insurance agency offices, property management companies, and other target market professionals.

The Account Manager will be responsible for cold and warm calling new target prospects as well as established clients on a route system, building relationships of "Know, Like and Trust" that lead to referrals of property claims losses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with insurance agency offices, property management companies, and other target market professionals
  • Cold and warm call new target prospects as well as established clients on a route system
  • Build relationships of "Know, Like and Trust" that lead to referrals of property claims losses
  • Develop and maintain accurate and complete customer files
  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly sales activity reports
  • Meet or exceed sales quota

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or better and/or comparable work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Professional appearance and decorum
  • Good presentation skills
  • Not afraid of the phone as a marketing tool
  • Proficient in Social Media
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
