Job Title: VP of Business Development - Hospice Care

At Transitions Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Business Development to lead our hospice care marketing efforts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of organization marketing, including managing the members of the marketing team, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, and negotiating service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directs all daily marketing operations, providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Ensures that team members understand and adhere to all laws, statutes, and regulations regarding anti-kickback, lawful marketing activities, patient solicitation, and accurate marketing materials.
  • Negotiates service pricing with insurance Case Managers and other payers within established financial and credit parameters.
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of Transitions Hospice LLC markets, including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor's market positioning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience in health care marketing management, preferably in hospice care operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
  • Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
  • Knowledge of corporate business management.
  • Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
