Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Richmond. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Sales team to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Sales Calls and Client Appointments: Schedule and coordinate sales calls and client appointments with the Sales team to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Prepare Quotes and Contracts: Prepare and process quotes and contracts for clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate Site Inspections: Coordinate site inspections as required to ensure that all necessary information is gathered and presented to clients.
  • Maintain Hotel and Sales & Marketing Databases: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of hotel and Sales & Marketing databases to ensure seamless communication and data analysis.
  • Conduct Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct research and competitive analysis to compile reports that provide valuable insights to the Sales team.
  • Assist with Sales & Marketing Projects: Assist with Sales & Marketing projects as required to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Report Any Unusual Occurrences: Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent: High school graduate or equivalent work-related experience.
  • 1-Year Experience in Similar Position: 1-year experience in a similar position, preferably in the hospitality environment.
  • Proven Performer in a Fast-Paced Environment: A proven performer in a fast-paced, high-volume, and challenging role.
  • Professional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Professional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Exceptional Organizational and Time Management Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills to achieve tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with administration and data entry is essential.
  • Proficiency with CRM Systems and Microsoft Office: Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Previous Experience in a Similar Role: Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality office environment is preferred.
  • Sound Knowledge of Fosse, Delphi, or STS Catering and Sales Systems: Sound knowledge of Fosse, Delphi, or STS catering and sales systems is ideal.
  • Exceptional Grooming and Personal Branding: Exceptional grooming and personal branding to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Display a Competent Level of Computer Literacy: Display a competent level of computer literacy to effectively use software and systems.

  • Ability to Focus Attention on Guest Needs: Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
