About the Role

Feldkamp Marketing, a premier broker specializing in Kroger, is seeking a seasoned Category Insights Manager to lead our category management and insights efforts. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for analyzing Kroger-specific data, uncovering actionable insights, and guiding strategic initiatives that drive category growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead category management and insights efforts by analyzing Kroger data and providing guidance to the analyst team to inform strategic decisions for our clients.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that influence marketing and sales strategies, product development, and category growth.
  • Utilize the full suite of Kroger and broader market analytical tools, including 84.51 (Market6/Stratum), JDA (Blue Yonder), IRi (Circana), and PowerBI to provide deep insights into category performance.
  • Present findings to key stakeholders, both internally and externally, with a clear and compelling narrative that drives action.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are integrated into broader business strategies and drive results.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and emerging analytics tools, continuously improving our approach to data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in category management, insights, or analytics, preferably within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Expertise with Kroger-specific data and tools, including Market6/Stratum), JDA (Blue Yonder), IRi (Circana), and PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior leadership and external clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, data analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
