Job Title: Office Operations ManagerAbout the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Office Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our business office, ensuring seamless execution of financial transactions and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the patient trust fund, processing requests, deposits, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of monthly billing statements, maintaining accurate records and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with residents and family members to complete medical assistance applications and verify eligibility.
  • Manage Medicaid applications, renewals, and issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Communicate with third-party payers, obtaining pre-authorizations and resolving billing inquiries.
  • Develop and implement efficient filing systems, maintaining organized records and ensuring easy access.
  • Conduct regular reviews of account receivables and payables, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to reduce delinquencies.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control guidelines, promoting a safe work environment and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to call lights promptly, addressing resident concerns and collaborating with department heads to resolve issues.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, and education programs, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Comply with HIPAA guidelines, protecting confidential information and maintaining a high level of discretion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or one to two years of related experience and/or training.
  • One year of experience in an Accounting role.
Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year
