Job Summary

Brown & Brown Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Benefits Analyst to join our team in Plano, TX. As a Senior Benefits Analyst, you will play a critical role in servicing the benefit consulting responsibilities of our employee benefit clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance, benchmarking, renewal, and marketing, reporting, and analytics for employee benefit clients.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, maintain accurate data in system database.
  • Assist clients with daily service functions and frequent ad hoc requests.
  • Create, review, and edit employee benefit guides, benefit manuals, and other client materials as requested.
  • Creates and maintains strong relationships with vendors.
  • Prepares and submits client utilization and financial reporting to Consultants and to client.
  • Reviews insurance circulars and bulletins to keep current on changes in the industry.
  • Confers with team to identify, plan, and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs.
  • Assists account teams with miscellaneous account duties to include running various reports as requested.

Requirements

  • 5+ years employee benefits experience, with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefits.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License within 1 year of employment.
