Job Summary:
O'Neil Digital Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Coordinator to join our team. The Compliance Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with various regulatory requirements, including HITRUST certification, HIPAA, financial industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Track cross-departmental projects derived from identified process improvement opportunities, the Quality Management System (QMS), departmental meetings, etc.
- Training Coordination: Manage and help create training programs across departments to meet contractual and compliance requirements.
- Compliance Support: Assist the Compliance area by reading and analyzing obligations in contract and certification frameworks for auditable requirements.
- Risk Management: Help the Risk Management process by analyzing and synthesizing requirements to identify risks and assist in the control process.
- Certification Audits: Support certification audits, including SOC 2 Type II and HITRUST.
- Business Process Improvement: Assist the Business Process Improvement area by assisting with workshops, documenting action plans, and aggregating gaps.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and certification requirements.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Work with relevant company departments to create and manage their SOPs.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties to assist Compliance leadership as assigned or required.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience in project management, training coordination, and/or document management.
- Skills: Ability to self-manage working remotely, experience working in a heavily regulated industry a plus, knowledge of HITRUST, SOC 2, or ISO 9001 preferred but not required.
