Position Overview:
The Employee Benefits Account Executive will collaborate closely with the Producer and service team to strategically manage clients' employee benefit plans and objectives. This role involves fostering and maintaining relationships with various internal and external partners and carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage an assigned portfolio in partnership with the Producer to comprehend clients' business needs and assist in developing employee benefits programs that align with their goals.
  • Deliver enrollment, benchmarking, financial, and utilization data in accordance with financial review standards, providing recommendations as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding coverage or services.
  • Educate clients on the regulatory landscape and assist with compliance matters as needed.
  • Act as a project manager, effectively communicating and guiding the account team to execute client-specific initiatives that deliver unique value.
  • Oversee the renewal process, including marketing activities, understanding underwriting, and negotiating on behalf of clients.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all agency management system information for various purposes.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external partners and carriers.
  • Assist in workflow reviews and improvement initiatives, providing training as necessary.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned, with travel expected to be 25-50%.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; or 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Life and health insurance license required.
  • Proficient in technology with the ability to learn multiple systems; intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
