Role Overview:
The Solutions Engineer is responsible for delivering tailored logistics solutions that meet client needs through effective proposal management and innovative design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proposal Management: Directs the formulation and pricing of customer RFPs, integrating standard tariffs, historical insights, and specific client demands.
  • Design and Implementation: Crafts all-encompassing transportation solutions for customer RFPs, with a strong focus on Air and Ocean freight services.
  • Product Expertise: Exhibits extensive knowledge of Air and Ocean freight offerings, including pricing strategies, market dynamics, and optimization methods.
  • Supply Chain Enhancement: Aims to refine clients' supply chains by evaluating and enhancing transportation routes, minimizing expenses, and boosting service quality.
  • Presentation Skills: Provides engaging presentations to both internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulating complex solutions.
  • Performance Evaluation: Sets benchmarks and implements performance metrics to monitor and enhance project results.
  • Advanced Analytics: Employs advanced analytical techniques to comprehend business requirements, propel continuous improvement efforts, and optimize supply chains.
  • Sales Assistance: Actively contributes to the sales process, aiding in the creation of value propositions and client proposals, particularly in Air and Ocean freight.
  • Process Optimization: Identifies operational inefficiencies and proposes enhancements to improve pricing strategies and overall effectiveness.
  • Additional Duties: Undertakes other responsibilities as assigned to support the broader objectives of the team and organization.

Required Skills:
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Soucify, Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Visio, Transportation Analysis Tools, Network analysis tools, Simulation and Inventory tools, and Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, and PowerBI.

Physical Requirements:
This position may involve prolonged periods of sitting, computer usage, standing, and walking. Some light lifting may be necessary in certain situations.

Education & Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field is required. Completion of a PI assessment is necessary for consideration.
