Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Management: Oversees the formulation and pricing of client RFPs, integrating standard rates, historical insights, and specific client needs.
  • Design and Implementation: Crafts detailed transportation strategies for client RFPs, focusing on Air and Ocean freight services.
  • Product Expertise: Exhibits extensive knowledge of Air and Ocean freight offerings, including pricing structures, market dynamics, and optimization strategies.
  • Supply Chain Enhancement: Aims to refine clients' supply chains by evaluating and improving transportation pathways, minimizing expenses, and boosting service quality.
  • Presentation Skills: Conducts engaging presentations for both internal and external audiences, clearly articulating complex solutions.
  • Performance Tracking: Sets benchmarks and implements metrics to monitor and enhance project results.
  • Advanced Analytics: Leverages sophisticated analytics to identify business requirements, propel continuous improvement efforts, and optimize supply chains.
  • Sales Assistance: Provides vital support during the sales process, aiding in the creation of value propositions and client proposals, particularly in Air and Ocean freight.
  • Process Optimization: Detects inefficiencies and proposes enhancements to improve pricing strategies and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Additional Duties: Undertakes other responsibilities as necessary to support the team's and company's overarching goals.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Soucify, Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Visio, Transportation Analysis Tools, Network analysis tools, Simulation and Inventory tools, and Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, and PowerBI.
Physical Demands
  • Role may necessitate prolonged periods of sitting, computer usage, standing, and walking.
  • Occasional light lifting may be required.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field is mandatory.
  • An MBA and/or background in Industrial Engineering is preferred.
