We are seeking a Logistics Account Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing client relationships within the transportation and logistics sector, ensuring seamless communication and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Account Specialist, you will:

  • Act as the primary liaison for our clients, particularly those in Truckload shipping.
  • Facilitate effective communication between clients and their suppliers.
  • Oversee the review and processing of customer orders, ensuring timely execution of shipments.
  • Focus on client retention and growth within your assigned portfolio.
Essential Functions

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Building and managing loads from customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Providing transparency to clients regarding the status of their shipments through various customer portals.
  • Identifying and resolving issues proactively, utilizing available resources to implement effective solutions.
  • Responding to customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Managing Customer Bid Boards and TMS Systems to optimize operations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Software (Mercury Gate) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A background in transportation and a solid understanding of industry practices.
