Position: Logistics Operations Specialist at Crane Worldwide Logistics

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the status of shipments from initiation to completion
  • Document shipment information in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Liaise with carriers and drivers to obtain location updates
  • Address service-related issues by escalating them to the relevant departments
  • Work collaboratively with team members to uphold service standards
  • Manage documentation related to shipments and carriers
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with U.S. Geography
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Physical Demands

  • Ability to communicate, listen, and operate a computer
  • Visual capabilities including close vision

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree is preferred

Certifications and Licenses

  • Professional certification may be necessary
