Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Education Specialist to join our Continuing Education program. This role is integral to upholding our institution's esteemed legacy of academic excellence, community engagement, and student development.
Key Responsibilities
The Logistics Education Specialist will:
- Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction in logistics, utilizing diverse teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Course Development: Design and implement courses that align with established higher education standards, catering to a wide range of student backgrounds and learning styles.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback to support their academic progress.
- Advising: Foster professional relationships with students, offering guidance on academic and program-specific matters.
- Professional Growth: Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with industry trends and educational practices.
- Community Involvement: Participate in institutional service activities and contribute to community outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience in teaching at the college level is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse student population.
