Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard, oversee, and expand account relationships with Small Business clients (defined as those with revenue between $1-10MM) within assigned portfolios.
  • Evaluate the customer's financial requirements through the analysis of moderately complex data, and as necessary, propose a diverse range of financial products and services to support the customer's financial success.
  • Foster exceptional client relationships by developing a thorough understanding of cash flow and the operational cycles of small businesses, and how our business products and services can assist them.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal small business partners and stakeholders to independently address moderately complex customer or process challenges and achieve small business objectives.

  • Lead or participate in moderately complex projects and deliverables within the small business sector, contributing to broader initiatives related to customer relationships and business expansion.
  • This LO role involves customer interaction and responsibilities that may include assessing needs and referring clients interested in dwelling-secured products to a SAFE team member. This position entails assisting clients without processing applications or negotiating terms of a dwelling-secured transaction. Individuals in a LO role must also meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) as outlined in the job expectations below.


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Banking, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing or managing a portfolio of clients with annual revenues between $1MM - $10MM.
  • Strong understanding of deposit and cash management products and services.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to balance client needs with the associated risks and interests of Wells Fargo.
  • 3+ years of experience in business-to-business sales.
  • Established connections within the local market.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of the financial services industry.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher.


Job Expectations:

  • This position requires visiting clients and prospects outside of the branch location within an assigned market/geography.
  • Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) roles must meet the qualification requirements set by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. These requirements include meeting applicable standards for financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background checks. A current credit report will be utilized to assess financial responsibility and credit fitness, although a credit score is not part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also adhere to ongoing regulatory requirements, including additional screening if necessary.

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $69,300.00 annually.
