Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with business banking clients in assigned business segments and geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with business banking clients to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Actively engage in the sales process to ensure attainment of regional and individual goals and objectives.
  • Present product solutions to client needs and provide responsive quality service.
  • Approve transactions within delegated authority and manage overall relationship profitability and portfolio risk.
  • Identify business opportunities and solicit referrals of other Bank products or services.
  • Develop a strong understanding of company, industry, business, and needs to assist in client calling efforts.
  • Negotiate transactions, document, and close loan transactions, ensuring conformance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Exercise sound credit and risk judgment in approving transactions and recommend approval of credits meeting the Bank's credit standards.
  • Ensure the quality of all business introduced to the Bank and represent the Bank by actively participating in outside civic and community affairs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience required.
  • Minimum 8 years of commercial lending experience within the segment required.
  • Minimum 5 years of credit experience required.
  • Skills and knowledge of Bank operations, policies, and procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.

City National Bank offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting base salary of $92,114 - $156,880 per year, bonus, and/or commissions. We also offer a range of benefits and perks, including comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
