Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bank Manager to join our team at Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our retail banking sales and service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of excellence and customer-centricity within the branch
  • Develop and execute a business plan to maximize business growth and wallet share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Monitor and analyze sales and service performance to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the branch remains competitive and innovative
Requirements
  • Typically between 4-6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services
  • Advanced knowledge of competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings
  • Working knowledge of branch operational processes and policies
  • Working knowledge of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics
  • Working knowledge of applicable regulations, audit standards, and related policies, procedures, and directives
