ROLE SUMMARY

The Safety Operations Specialist is responsible for safeguarding individuals and assets at Renewal By Andersen locations. This includes conducting regular inspections, employing security technologies, responding to emergencies, and executing various security protocols as directed by the Security Management team. The role requires adherence to organizational policies and the ability to perform security functions across different sites as necessary.

LOCATION: Various locations as needed

WORK SHIFTS:

  • Day Shift: 5 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Evening Shift: 12 PM - 8:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts foot and vehicle patrols to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and facilities.
  • Engages with guests, vendors, and staff to foster a welcoming environment.
  • Responds appropriately to both emergency and non-emergency incidents, documenting and reporting as per company protocols.
  • Utilizes security technology to maintain a secure environment for personnel and property.
  • Assists in the enhancement and implementation of security initiatives and programs.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources and Security Management on investigations and security matters that may present risks.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent is essential.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in security or a related field, demonstrating strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of physical security measures and technology, with the ability to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Meets requirements to operate a company vehicle.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to lift and carry heavy objects as required, and to work in various weather conditions.
