POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves safeguarding individuals and property at Andersen Corporation locations through regular patrols, employing security technologies, responding to emergencies, and fulfilling other security duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor/Manager. Compliance with Company and Department policies is essential when addressing various situations. The candidate should possess the requisite knowledge and training to perform security tasks at different sites across the organization as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts foot and vehicle patrols to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and facilities.
  • Engages with guests, vendors, contractors, and staff to foster a positive brand experience.
  • Responds appropriately to both emergency and non-emergency situations, documenting and reporting incidents as per Company and Department protocols.
  • Utilizes security technology to maintain the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing the Corporate Security program.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources, Facilities, Security Supervisor, and Corporate Security Services Manager on investigations and complex security issues.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in physical security or operations center environments, demonstrating strong decision-making capabilities.
  • First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Understanding of physical security technologies and processes, with knowledge of computer systems.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with employees and leadership.
  • Meets Fleet requirements to operate a company vehicle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding sensitive employee and company information.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry over 50 pounds as needed.
  • Willingness to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods.
  • Able to climb ladders and perform tasks at various heights.
  • Prepared to work in all weather conditions.
