About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our distribution center in Locust Grove, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of associates and ensure they are thoroughly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Workforce Management: Oversee work schedules, attendance, and ensure accurate recording of employee hours.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain employee awareness and compliance with QSHE (Quality, Safety & Health, Environment) standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting and participate in weekly and monthly business reviews to drive process improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and implement process improvements, and track the effectiveness of changes.
  • Communication: Establish clear communication channels between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cost Savings: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, and track the impact of changes.
  • Customer Relationships: Meet with customers and key customer contacts to achieve mutually defined goals.
  • Advanced Tasks: Complete complex tasks requiring independent analysis, problem resolution, and judgment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of warehousing experience, 3+ years of leadership experience in a distribution environment, and 1+ year of experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Improvement.
  • Skills: Knowledge of production and quality systems, proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
