Radial, a leader in omnichannel commerce technologies and operations, is thrilled to announce an opening for a Wave Operations Coordinator. Our omnichannel solutions leverage state-of-the-art technology and analytics to streamline the e-commerce process from start to finish, reducing costs for our clients while enhancing the customer experience.
Position Summary:
The Wave Operations Coordinator utilizes the Fulfillment Center (FC) Warehouse Management System (WMS) to allocate tasks among the available workforce in the Fulfillment Center (FFC) in the most effective way possible. The incoming client orders and the release of 'picks' are strategically distributed throughout the physical FFC and along the process path (single, multi, ship alone) through the use of software, mathematical analysis, and ongoing communication in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong grasp of priorities and manage the expediting process to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Communicate effectively with outbound supervisors to coordinate efforts.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of WMS wave planning software to identify issues and enhance operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Investigate and resolve workflow challenges using knowledge of all distribution center operations.
- Clearly communicate issues and directives to team members.
- Assess work processes for efficiency improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and perform duties in a safe and conscientious manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
- Prior experience in wave planning or expediting is preferred.
- Proactive attitude – willing to take on additional responsibilities and assist others as needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Dependable – follows instructions, responds to management direction, and takes ownership of actions.
- Motivated – sets and pursues challenging goals.
- Effective communication skills – provides clear information and guidance professionally.

- Familiarity with distribution center operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and possesses strong computer skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse layout and supervisory responsibilities in each area.
- Visual acuity to read labels and navigate the facility.
- Able to hear and comprehend verbal instructions.
- Capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to climb stairs and perform bending, stooping, kneeling, and grasping tasks.
Travel Requirements:
- This position is not remote.
