Fulfillment Operations Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Fulfillment Operations Lead to oversee and coordinate daily activities within our fulfillment center. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and documentation as established by our Best Practices Council. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to prioritize and communicate shift directives, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all outbound operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations in accordance with standard operating procedures, ensuring a team of associates meets safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Actively engage in the development of direct reports to foster a high-performing team.
  • Manage the seasonal workforce, achieving productivity and daily objectives through adherence to the Radial Operating Model.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Address and resolve daily operational challenges effectively.
  • Plan and coordinate shift activities to ensure compliance with all operational procedures.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in prioritizing and communicating directives to enhance efficiency and quality in outbound activities.
  • Ensure all team members receive appropriate training and skill development as per company guidelines.
  • Recommend and implement strategies for improving employee efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Set specific performance objectives for shift personnel to maximize productivity.
  • Lead special projects related to fulfillment as needed.
  • Monitor production metrics and personnel statistics to support departmental operations.
  • Reinforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with peers across departments to implement fulfillment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: College Degree; Required: High School Diploma.
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor while managing multiple tasks and mentoring teams in a fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability.

Work Environment:

  • This position is not remote.
  • No travel is required.

Work Schedule: Various shifts available.
