Radial, a leader in omnichannel commerce technologies and operations, has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Operations Leader. Our omnichannel solutions leverage advanced technology and analytics to streamline the e-commerce process, reducing costs for our clients while enhancing the consumer experience.

Position Summary:

The Logistics Operations Leader will oversee and coordinate daily activities within the fulfillment center to ensure compliance with all operational procedures and documentation established by the Best Practices Council. This role will assist the Operations Manager in planning, prioritizing, and communicating daily directives to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all outbound operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations in accordance with standard operating procedures, holding team members accountable for safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Actively contribute to the development of direct reports at Radial.
  • Manage the seasonal workforce, achieving productivity and daily goals through adherence to the Radial Operating Model.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with all company and federally mandated regulations regarding safety, OSHA, HazMat, and DOT.
  • Oversee associate performance related to safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Address and resolve daily operational issues.
  • Plan and coordinate activities for assigned areas within the fulfillment center to ensure adherence to all operational procedures.
  • Support the Manager in planning, prioritizing, and communicating directives to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality in all outbound operations.
  • Ensure all shift personnel receive appropriate training, skill development, and assessment according to company guidelines.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance employee efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish specific objectives and performance metrics for all shift personnel to maximize productivity.
  • Lead special projects related to fulfillment as needed.
  • Accountable for meeting production targets.
  • Monitor production and personnel statistics, providing reports to support departmental operations.
  • Reinforce compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and execute performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with peers and related staff across departments to implement fulfillment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: College Degree / Required: High School Diploma.
  • Required: Prior lead or supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehousing, 3PL, distribution, or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude while multitasking, managing, coaching, and mentoring teams to achieve success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills in process improvement with a proven ability to develop and implement effective processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills, along with professional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position is not remote.
  • No travel is required.

Work Hours: Multiple shifts and supervisory roles are available.
