Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's front office. This position requires a high level of customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the front office operations, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and key management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and promotions, and communicate this information to guests and colleagues as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager or other hotel management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on customer service and front office operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
