About the Team
The Technical Success team is dedicated to ensuring the secure and efficient implementation of ChatGPT and OpenAI API applications for developers and enterprises.

We serve as trusted advisors and thought partners for our clients, helping them maximize the value derived from our models and products.

As a Solutions Engineer in the Strategics segment, you will assist major corporations in transforming their operations through solutions such as customer support, automated content creation, and innovative applications utilizing our latest models.

About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned solutions leader to collaborate with our clients and ensure they realize significant business value from our models via ChatGPT and the OpenAI API.

You will engage with senior business stakeholders to comprehend their pre-sales requirements, guide their AI strategies, and pinpoint the most valuable use cases and applications.

Your role will involve working alongside business and technical teams to showcase the benefits of our solutions and suggest architectural patterns to initiate their implementation and development.

You will collaborate closely with Strategics Sales, Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Security, and Product teams, reporting to the Head of Solutions Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:

  • Provide an outstanding pre-sales customer experience for Strategics prospects and clients by delivering technical expertise, outlining the value proposition, and addressing product, API, and LLM-related inquiries.
  • Illustrate how utilizing OpenAI APIs and ChatGPT can fulfill clients' business requirements and deliver substantial business benefits. This includes creating and presenting demonstrations, scoping use cases, recommending architectural frameworks, and offering in-depth technical advice.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, guides, and FAQs related to common inquiries and requirements identified during the pre-sales phase.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships throughout the evaluation, validation, and purchasing stages.
  • Encourage client advocacy and represent the client's voice within internal teams by collecting and communicating client feedback, identifying trends across clients, and integrating them into product planning.
  • Act as the first point of contact for security and compliance inquiries, explaining standardized materials, directing clients to relevant resources, and escalating complex requirements to the appropriate teams.

Qualifications
You will excel in this role if you:

  • Possess over 7 years of experience in a technical pre-sales capacity, managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of IT security principles and client requirements for technical B2B SaaS products, with experience in providing advanced security and compliance support.
  • Have industry experience in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Have developed prototypes of Generative AI or traditional ML solutions and possess knowledge of network/cloud architecture.
  • Are an effective presenter and communicator capable of translating business and technical topics for diverse audiences, including senior leadership. You take ownership of challenges from start to finish and are willing to acquire any necessary knowledge to complete your tasks.
  • Exhibit a humble demeanor, a willingness to assist colleagues, and a commitment to contributing to the team's success.

Compensation Range:
$220K - $280K
