Drive Retail Credit Strategy at Barclays

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies to support our retail card portfolios. Your expertise in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology will be essential in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing.
  • Design and conduct statistical and machine learning models to analyse patterns, trends, and relationships in the data.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science.
  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Credit Strategy Development and the use of SQL servers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving business growth.
