Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates with educational leadership, university partners, and community organizations to attract skilled and capable personnel across various roles.

This role plays a vital part in the execution of recruitment initiatives, the formation of partnership agreements, and the initiation of promotional campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will work closely with hiring managers to assess and clarify specific recruitment requirements; devise innovative strategies for talent acquisition; recommend and facilitate suitable candidates for vacancies; oversee the tracking of open roles and the requisition process; manage the online application system; and supervise the dissemination of weekly job postings and advertisements.

This position operates under general oversight and reports directly to the Director of Recruitment and Retention.

Qualifications
Experience:
Proficiency in MS Office is required. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment within a professional services environment is highly desirable.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory.

Certificates & Licenses:
HR Certification is preferred but not essential.

Essential Duties
- Assist school principals and hiring managers in identifying recruitment needs and challenges.
- Develop a hiring strategy in collaboration with school leadership for the current and upcoming academic years.
- Create targeted recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill positions across all classifications.
- Employ diverse sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, networking, and career fairs.
- Manage the job posting process within the recruitment system, providing technical support to applicants and hiring managers.
- Offer guidance throughout the hiring process, including negotiations and onboarding.
- Support the Director with communications, partnership agreements, and related tasks with universities.
- Organize external hiring fairs, including scheduling, registration, logistics, and supplies.
- Collaborate with community organizations and divisions to establish partnerships and ongoing recruitment events for support roles.

- Assist in the interview and hiring process for substitute teachers as a secondary support to the Senior Employment Specialist.

- Order, maintain, and update recruitment materials, including branded items and brochures.

- Input interview records from recruitment events to ensure accurate data management.

- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of recruitment activities and candidate information.

- Prepare and present recruitment reports to HR leadership and school administrators.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout all recruitment activities.

- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

- Respond to inquiries from various stakeholders to provide information and facilitate communication.

Clearances:
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
- Tuberculosis Skin Test.

Public Health Compliance:
Adherence to safety and health protocols is required.
