Cash Reconciliation Specialist

RTA US is seeking a dedicated Cash Reconciliation Specialist to support our financial operations.
Employment Type: Temporary to permanent / Remote work available
Compensation: $17.86 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
The Cash Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for investigating and applying insurance payments from clients to the correct invoices within our systems. This role requires thorough research of insurance claim payments to accurately identify claims based on customer data, service dates, and relevant procedure codes. The specialist will continuously seek to enhance research methodologies and optimize transaction processing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute financial transactions including cash application, billing, invoice resubmission, and write-offs.
- Adhere to data processing protocols to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
- Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding processed transactions.
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience in applying cash to medical claims.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with mainframe systems, particularly AS400, and understanding of third-party benefits administration.
- Ability to meet a minimum keystroke requirement of 10,000 per hour with an error rate below 2%.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in both team-oriented and independent settings.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all tasks.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic.
