Job Summary

AtriCure is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our company's accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, customer payments, credit, and collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Invoices and Payments: Accurately process accounts receivable invoices and cash payments in our Microsoft Dynamics GP software.
  • Credit and Collection Activities: Perform credit and collection activities, including collection calls to customers, preparing and transmitting monthly customer statements on open invoices, and processing credits and returns on customer accounts.
  • Customer Master File Maintenance: Maintain customer master file information in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
  • Sales/Use Tax Assessments: Monitor sales/use tax assessments.
  • Collaboration with Sales Support: Collaborate with Sales Support on transaction processing and customer data maintenance and processes debit/credit adjustments from returned goods as needed.
  • Special Assignments: Assist the Receivables Manager, Corporate Controller, and/or Accounting Team with any special assignments.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience in a related accounting/financial role.
  • Associate Degree or Equivalent: Associate degree or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • General Ledger and Receivable Management: General ledger and receivable management experience.
  • Sales/Use Tax Experience: Sales/use tax experience.
  • Great Communication Skills: Great written/verbal communication skills.
  • Computer/Data Entry Skills: Good computer/data entry skills.
  • Problem Solving/Troubleshooting: Problem solving/trouble shooting experience.
  • Ability to Work Independently/Team: Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP: Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Other Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed. Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
