About the Position
The Omnichannel Experience Strategy team at Gap Inc. is responsible for shaping and enhancing the omni vision and strategic direction of Old Navy. This role involves identifying and assessing opportunities while collaborating with various cross-functional teams, including ecommerce, retail operations, marketing, production management, and merchandising. The goal is to develop omni capabilities and implement strategic initiatives from conception to execution. By conducting thorough analyses, focusing on customer and competitor insights, and employing innovative thinking, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our strategic priorities and long-term objectives through strong partnerships with brand leaders and stakeholders across the organization.Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifying, planning, and ensuring the success of brand and channel strategy initiatives. This includes pinpointing critical issues, structuring problems, and developing actionable workplans that foster value creation across Old Navy; performing both quantitative and qualitative analyses, such as data evaluation, financial modeling, and market research; synthesizing insights, crafting narratives, and preparing materials to present recommendations to Senior Management and the Leadership Team.
  • Provide analytical insights and problem-solving support to cross-functional business partners.
  • Oversee work planning, hypothesis development, issue identification, and the creation of analytical frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build consensus and drive omni-initiatives that align with the Old Navy brand and omni strategy.
Qualifications

What You Bring:
  • Preferred background in management consulting or private equity, particularly within omni-channel retail; a solid understanding of the industry landscape, key drivers, and retail fundamentals.
  • Proven track record as an exceptional problem solver and strategic thinker, with the ability to swiftly identify key issues and formulate hypotheses.
  • Capability to distill complex concepts and diverse information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities, with experience in guiding cross-functional partners and/or junior team members.
  • Self-motivated and independent, with a readiness to engage actively; adaptable and responsive to shifting priorities and business needs.
