Marketing at Brex

The Marketing department is responsible for articulating the Brex narrative, shaping messaging and positioning, and translating our offerings into clear customer benefits. Our marketing professionals, spanning Brand, Social, Product, Partner Marketing, Content, Events, and Growth, play a crucial role in acquiring and retaining customers, possessing a profound understanding of the business landscape. We operate as a highly collaborative team, working closely with Design and various departments within Brex, including Sales, Communications, Legal, Customer Experience, and Employer Branding, to ensure our prospects and customers realize their full potential with Brex.

Key Responsibilities

As a Brand Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand marketing initiatives that enhance our market visibility, elevate brand recognition, and support our overarching mission and vision. You will be responsible for translating the Brex brand across multiple channels and touchpoints, ensuring our brand is effectively communicated through campaigns, advertisements, partnerships, events, and internal initiatives that empower employees to become brand advocates.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Brand Marketing Lead.
  • Assisting in the management of brand campaigns, encompassing strategy, planning, execution, quality assurance, and reporting.
  • Providing administrative and project management support for brand and content partnerships.
  • Overseeing relationships with external media and creative agencies.
  • Coordinating with agencies to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Supporting brand health research to identify trends, target demographics, and competitive insights.
  • Assisting in Out-of-Home (OOH) media initiatives, including planning and executing billboard and customer reward campaigns.
  • Identifying potential customer advocates within our client base and collaborating with Customer Success and Customer Experience teams to engage and nurture these relationships.
  • Experimenting with innovative methods to drive advocacy and reporting on progress and achievements.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of four years of experience in effectively promoting a technology, finance, or B2B brand.
  • Proven experience in developing brand marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with external agency partners (media/creative) or prior experience in a media agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with both internal and external teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • A strong sense of intellectual curiosity, with the ability to quickly understand complex concepts, products, technologies, and evolving market dynamics.
  • Ability to navigate a matrix organization and represent the team with integrity, professionalism, and independence.
  • A passion for storytelling, a commitment to quality, and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and concise strategies.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in brand marketing.
Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $98,536 - $123,170. However, the starting base salary will be influenced by various factors including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market conditions, and internal pay equity. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a comprehensive compensation package.
