Our Marketing Philosophy

The Marketing division at Brex is responsible for articulating our brand narrative, shaping messaging and positioning, and translating our offerings into clear customer advantages. Our marketing professionals—spanning Brand, Social, Product, Partner Marketing, Content, Events, and Growth—play a pivotal role in customer acquisition and retention, underpinned by a profound understanding of our business landscape. We operate as a cohesive unit, collaborating closely with the Design team and other departments, including Sales, Communications, Legal, Customer Experience, and Employer Branding, to ensure our prospects and clients recognize their potential with Brex.

Key Responsibilities

As a Brand Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in advancing brand marketing strategies that elevate our market visibility, enhance brand recognition, and align with our overarching mission and vision. Your role will involve translating the Brex brand across diverse channels and touchpoints, ensuring consistent external representation through campaigns, advertisements, partnerships, events, and fostering internal brand advocacy among employees.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Brand Marketing Lead.
  • Assisting in the management of brand campaigns, including strategic planning, execution, quality assurance, and performance reporting.
  • Providing administrative and project management support for brand and content partnerships.
  • Overseeing relationships with external media and creative agencies.
  • Coordinating with agencies to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials while adhering to brand standards.
  • Conducting brand health research to identify trends, target demographics, and competitive insights.
  • Supporting Out-of-Home (OOH) media initiatives.
  • Partnering with the Head of OOH Media to assist in billboard and customer reward campaigns.
  • Coordinating logistics and materials for OOH media placements and campaigns.
  • Developing a Customer Advocacy Program.
  • Identifying potential customer advocates within our client base and collaborating with Customer Success and CX teams to engage and nurture these relationships.
  • Operationalizing the advocacy program and experimenting with innovative approaches to drive advocacy.
  • Reporting on progress and successes.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of four years of experience in effectively promoting a technology, finance, or B2B brand.
  • Proven experience in developing brand marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience utilizing data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with external agency partners (media/creative) or prior experience in a media agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with both internal and external teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • A keen intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly comprehend complex concepts, products, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in navigating a matrix organization while representing the team with integrity and professionalism.
  • A passion for storytelling, a commitment to quality, and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in brand marketing.

Compensation Overview

The anticipated salary range for this position is $98,536 - $123,170. The starting base pay will be determined by various factors, including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market conditions, and internal pay equity. Depending on the role, equity and additional forms of compensation may be included as part of the overall compensation package.
