Vice President of Business Transformation and Clinical Innovation

The Vice President of Business Transformation and Clinical Innovation is responsible for spearheading the strategic initiatives and execution plans essential for enhancing our service offerings to Military clients, beneficiaries, and healthcare providers. This role involves evaluating potential partnerships both internally and externally to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement multi-year transformation strategies that engage various stakeholders, including customers and providers, to enhance operational delivery and health service integration.
2. Act as a key influencer within the organization, requiring a deep understanding of interrelated organizational capabilities within the Military segment.
3. Champion change and continuous improvement while fostering strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
4. Make critical decisions regarding the implementation of new programs and large-scale projects that align with strategic objectives and operational enhancements.
5. Oversee the development of a comprehensive approach to the 'Convener of Care' evolution, focusing on clinical, operational, and cultural transformation drivers.
6. Manage multiple growth teams tasked with innovative experimentation and transformation facilitation across various operational dimensions.
Strategic Advisory:
Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on significant functional strategies, particularly in clinical innovation. Exercise independent judgment on complex issues, working with minimal supervision and analyzing various factors to determine optimal solutions.
Collaboration and Communication:
Engage with external physicians, facilities, and community groups to explore innovative concepts and support business priorities, emphasizing collaborative relationships and value-based care.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven leadership in agile and cross-functional team environments.
- Strong focus on leveraging technology for organizational efficiency.
- Experience in clinical and business innovation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking capabilities with a strong analytical background.
- Ability to mentor and develop future leaders within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and senior leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication and strategic problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience, including management consulting or transformation roles.
- Knowledge of the medical health insurance industry and TRICARE.
- MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
