Position Overview: Engineering Program Manager (Vacuum Systems Engineering)

We are in search of a highly driven Engineering Program Manager to become part of our transforming team within the Engineering Program Management Group. Key Responsibilities:
As an Engineering Program Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Engineering team, ensuring program success throughout the engineering phase of product design. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Planning: Formulate comprehensive project plans, detailing timelines, milestones, and resource distribution.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to meet project objectives.
- Resource Management: Optimize project resources to enhance efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate disruptions and delays.
- Reporting: Provide updates on project status concerning key milestones and challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration and support project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Operations, Program Management).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally in an engineering or technical setting.
- Familiarity with MS Project is preferred, including resource loading and leveling.
- Experience in Program/Project Management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of industry-standard project management practices and the ability to advocate for best practices.
- Proficient in negotiating, resolving engineering resource conflicts, and driving program completions to meet business objectives.
