Senior Test Engineering Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Test Engineering Manager to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for guiding a team in the development, delivery, and sustainment of custom automated test equipment (ATE) systems for digital, RF, and microwave products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and delivery of ATE systems.
- Collaborate with industry-leading RF and microwave design professionals across multiple Lockheed Martin sites.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to project teams.
- Encourage continuous process improvement initiatives across the Chelmsford site.
- Manage the opportunities between new test equipment development and maintaining production capacity and equipment.
- Serve as a primary spokesperson for Test Engineering internally and externally.
- Act as an advocate for your employees, supporting their assignments, growth, and development to perform at their best.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combined education/experience.
- Experience developing/supporting automated test equipment.
- The ability to effectively lead Engineering personnel.
- Experience managing cost and schedule and technical aspects of projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance and must obtain at least an interim secret clearance prior to start.
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field.
- Experience in leadership of Engineering personnel.
- Proficiency in Product Development Process.
- Proficiency in Production Processes.
- Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment.
- Experience in Cost Account Management.
- Experience in growing organizational talent through informal coaching and formal performance reviews.
- Experience in design and manufacturing of circuit cards and hybrid/microwave microelectronics.
- Experience in military contracting environment.
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
