Position Overview: Engineering Program Manager (Vacuum Systems Engineering)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Engineering Program Manager to become a vital part of our rapidly evolving team within the Engineering Program Management Group. This role is ideal for individuals eager to embark on a new career path in Program/Project Management or those looking to enhance their experience with a focus on personal career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Formulate comprehensive project plans that encompass timelines, milestones, and resource distribution.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Resource Management: Efficiently manage project resources to maximize project effectiveness.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.

Reporting: Provide updates on project status concerning key milestones and challenges.

Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve project delivery efficiency.

Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration and support project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Operations, Program Management).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally in an engineering or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with MS Project is preferred, including resource loading and leveling.
  • Experience in Program/Project Management is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard project management practices and the ability to advocate for best practices.
  • Skills in negotiating, resolving engineering resource conflicts, and driving program completions to meet business objectives.
  • A leader who fosters a culture of teamwork and values employee contributions.
  • A self-starter ready to tackle challenges and manage a fast-paced workload.
  • An individual eager to learn and pursue career growth.
  • Ability to handle multiple programs concurrently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and adapting to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
