Position Overview:
This is a full-time role, operating Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Flexibility may be required to accommodate occasional overtime or weekend work based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle 50-70 patient calls daily, addressing moderate to complex inquiries.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments within the clinical information system.
  • Update and verify patient demographic and insurance details.
  • Facilitate communication with Provider offices to ensure patient access to medical services.
  • Process and prioritize urgent referrals.
  • Notify patients regarding their appointment and referral statuses.
  • Perform high-volume data entry tasks.
  • Address and resolve expedited patient complaints.
  • Manage medication refill requests.
  • Respond proactively to inquiries from patients, Providers, and internal medical staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with electronic medical record systems.
  • At least 1 year of experience with computer applications, including proficiency in navigating and learning complex systems.
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with potential for occasional overtime or weekend shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a related field (e.g., office, administrative, clerical, customer service) utilizing phones and computers as primary tools.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EMR System.
