We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Ned NoMad. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will have a proven track record as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, luxury restaurant or fine dining establishment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing menus that showcase seasonal, sustainable ingredients, while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that reflect Chef Kish's culinary vision
- Lead a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
- Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment
- Analyze sales data and menu performance to identify areas for cost-optimization and menu adjustments
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury restaurant or fine dining establishment
- Exceptional culinary skills and a deep understanding of fine dining techniques and plating presentation
- A strong commitment to using seasonal, sustainable, and high-quality ingredients
- Impeccable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a talented culinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with your team, vendors, and guests
